Spring Cleanup

Start the Season with a Clean, Healthy, and Well-Prepared Landscape

Winter leaves behind fallen branches, leaves, pine needles, salt residue, and other organic debris that can prevent your landscape from looking its best. Our Spring Cleanup service prepares your property for the growing season by restoring landscape beds, refreshing lawn areas, and creating a clean foundation for healthy growth throughout the year.

Overview

What to Know

A proper spring cleanup does much more than remove leaves. It's the first opportunity each year to inspect your landscape after winter, remove accumulated organic debris, redefine landscape beds, and prepare your lawn and planting areas for the growing season.

Our spring cleanup service is customized to each property based on its condition and your goals. Some properties simply require debris removal and a seasonal refresh, while others benefit from additional services such as mulch installation, shrub trimming, dethatching, or lawn restoration.

Throughout the cleanup, we focus on restoring the appearance of your property while preparing it for healthy growth. Landscape beds are cleaned, shrubs are evaluated and trimmed as needed, lawn areas receive their first seasonal mowing, and hard surfaces are thoroughly cleaned before the project is complete.

Organic debris can either be hauled away by our team or neatly bagged in paper leaf bags for municipal pickup, allowing you to choose the disposal option that best fits your needs.

What We Include

Every Visit Includes

Removal of Organic Debris

Collection of leaves, pine needles, pine cones, twigs, seedlings, acorns, small branches, and other naturally accumulated organic debris from lawn areas, landscape beds, and around planting areas.

First Seasonal Lawn Mowing

The lawn receives its first cut of the growing season, helping establish a clean appearance and preparing the turf for regular maintenance.

Landscape Bed Cleanup & Edging

Landscape beds are cleaned of accumulated debris while protecting existing shrubs, flowers, and ornamental trees, and bed edges are re-established for clean, defined transitions.

Shrub & Hedge Trimming

Shrubs are inspected and trimmed as needed to remove winter damage and promote healthy spring growth. Arborvitae that have spread or opened from heavy snow loads can be tied and secured to help restore their natural shape.

Hard Surface Cleanup

Driveways, sidewalks, patios, walkways, and other hard surfaces are thoroughly blown clean before the project is completed.

Optional Add-Ons

Fresh mulch installation and dethatching are available as optional add-ons immediately following your spring cleanup.

Did You Know?

Many lawn diseases, fungal issues, and insect problems begin in accumulated organic debris left behind after winter. Removing leaves, pine needles, and other debris early in the season improves air circulation, allows sunlight to reach the lawn, and helps create healthier growing conditions as temperatures begin to rise.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

No. You may choose to have debris hauled away by our team or have it bagged in paper leaf bags for municipal pickup where available.

Is mulch included?

No. Mulch installation is available as an optional add-on and is commonly completed immediately after spring cleanup for the best overall appearance.

Can spring cleanup be combined with other services?

Yes. Spring cleanup is frequently combined with recurring lawn maintenance, mulch installation, shrub trimming, landscape bed edging, dethatching, core aeration, and overseeding.
